Beautiful weather

The weather was so amazing today I found myself wishing I had an outdoor session scheduled. So, I decided to have one with a couple of my own favorite subjects at the playground. See what we all have to look forward to once this weather sticks around!? Oh, and have I mentioned how much I'm LOVING my new camera?

What I've been up to...

I know it's been a while, but this should make up for it. I've had a couple of sessions and have now finished a 30 page, 10x10 book for M&B (in between being horribly sick and my shoulder surgery of course). I'm so looking forward to spring and some GREAT picture weather. I'll be offering mini session parties to celebrate this great season as well as Easter. More info on this wonderful opportunity for great pics for your fam and friends at a fraction of the cost to come. In the mean time, some pics and book pages! Stay warm!!

Princess A

This little 4 year old beauty was sick the day we were going to do this shoot, but the next day she was feeling up to it. We had so much fun talking about her dolls and ponies and she loved showing me around her room. I just let her lead the way. She's such a camera flirt! Just look at those lashes. Her mom has to be one of the best decorators I have ever seen! Thanks for the fun morning and please, give me some decor pointers!

I am alive... and more M & B

Well, the holidays were crazy, but we survived. As promised ages ago, here are some more Becca and Matt photos. I'm sorting through the reception, trying to narrow it down. Hopefully this will do for now. I love the vintage feel!

I need at least one baby girl and one baby boy to launch my custom newborn announcements. If you have a baby due in the the next 1-2 months, send me an email. The fist 2-3 bookings I get will get their session at only $20 and a customized announcement that will be available to order with the same discounts as the Christmas cards! That's an in home, stay in your comfy clothes, don't worry about the cold photo shoot in the first 10 days of your baby's life when they're changing sooo much. I hope to hear from some mommies with bellies soon!

I just wanted to drop a little note and update you all. My shoulder surgery went well, but recovery has been a bit more rough than anticipated. I will be back into the full swing of things just after the first of the year. I will be out of town over Christmas break, but will be checking my email if anyone needs to contact me. Once we move past the Holidays I will be on the prowl for some gorgeous newborns to be my poster itty bittys with some great discounts on birth announcements and your photo session. So, if you are or know someone who is expecting in Jan-Feb who wants sweet pics in the first few days/weeks this could be you! More info on that to come. Finally, hoho and merry merry. Stay warm!

Reminder

Well, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! Now that things are winding down (or picking up for the next holiday), I thought I'd post a bit of information. I wanted to get out a reminder that it's not too late to order your cards for this holiday season. There is also still time to order prints to put in with your letter if photo cards aren't your thing. I will be unavailable starting this Friday (Dec. 5th) through the following Monday (Dec. 8th). I will be back in the office starting Tuesday, December 9th, if anyone needs to get ahold of me. Now, a post isn't a post without a photo. I spent Friday and Saturday of my holiday weekend shooting this beautiful couple's wedding and reception. Aren't they gorgeous!? More to come...

We got so lucky with this family's shoot. It was raining on the way there, while we were walking under a bridge to get to the tracks, and just as we left. The rain stayed away while we were actually shooting, though. It was windy and a bit chilly, but these guys were such troopers. Well, we got it done. Such a contrast in the kiddos eye color. Just beautiful!

Oodles and Bunches

No, I did not fall of the face of the earth. I do have a few sessions to add, which you'll be seeing over the next day or so. Referral cards are in, so let me know if you want some. First off is a wonderful family I met up with a few weeks ago. Their children have the most amazing eyes, so big and full of wonder. If you ever happen to be in my office, you'll see a couple of there pics up.















Next, we have an adorable set of four siblings. I think they're the cutest in the world, but I may be bias. Of course, there are none of the four together. That would be asking too much. I love the candid of baby "E" with her super handsome daddy. The mommy of this group was mostly behind the camera the whole time and she wouldn't dare post any of the couple pics when she wasn't. You might say she's still a bit self conscious since E's birth ; ) One could call them the inspiration behind the madness, or the other way around!
