Princess

Miss Kenley is back! It never ceases to amaze me how much a little person changes in 3 months. This is why I love swaddle to toddle, I get to see itty bits grow like weeds! This has to be one of my all time fave sessions. The sun even made a bit of a heart on her forehead. You can't plan stuff like that! I love this age and her mama has some adorable outfits and accessories. It was hard to narrow the preview down to some faves, but I managed. Thanks for the fun!















*REMINDER: I'll be out of the office July 17th-August 15th. I'll be checking my email and booking sessions, but unable to process orders until I return. All orders will be ready for pick up within 1 week of my return. The joys of family living out of state!

At last

This adorable family was a joy to photograph! These cutie pie misters were so much fun and just have the happiest little personalities. You can tell they're loved little boys. Thanks for meeting up with me and being so patient with the weather and my own new arrival rescheduling our session twice!

Little Lily

This little angel has to be the strongest newborn ever! I have never had a newbie pick her head up so high when I put her on her tummy that she was almost sitting up. Needless to say, tummy shots were next to impossible, but she's adorable no matter what. Thanks for welcoming me into your new world and adorable nursery!

Lips

I love me some kissy lips and this little miss has some. I just love all the little things you forget about newborns, like the sucking callous they get that sheds (as hers did) every few days and then comes back. I'm also loving my new knitted wonder, made by one of my besties who is so very talented (sorry, she won't open an etsy shop). Oh, this post is just full of love... :)

Miss Lydia

This 6 day old little miss nursed at the start of the session and slept right on through the whole thing. She's simply wonderful, in my opinion! Oh, and yes, dad wanted and was okay with his manly self being on my blog.















Big brother, Luke (one of four older sibs for itty bit), asked what would happen if he took his shirt off like daddy. I said this...

What I've Been Up To

I am now comfortably booking sessions for the third week in June on.

My love affair with black and white

I'm loving my new favorite black and white conversion of this gorgeous girl. It's so moody. Don't you love the way her eyes sparkle?

Have I mentioned, I LOVE babies...

maybe that's why I've had four! Well, just look at the little 12 day new princess I got to spend the morning with recently. At a whopping 6 lbs 10 oz, I was in baby doll heaven. Miss Kenley is so precious and I dare say that the rest of the fam that was present for our session is pretty easy on the eyes as well! Ehhh, I don't need to convince you, just look for yourself.

My Loves

In honor of Valentine's Day and having not done a "session" with my own little loves in far too long, I decided to take them to one of their favorite places with my camera and hubby in tow. I've wanted to do a session at our wonderfully well lit public library forever and this nasty winter posed the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, my little miss wasn't in the mood to listen to mom since she was content to just lay on the floor and occasionally suck her thumb. Anyone else want to get in on the book splendor?
